General about the control options
The Barnfind philosophy is to make the control predictable, reliable and easy to understand.
Our BarnStudio software comes included in the BarnOne frame price. BarnStudio gives you a quick and easy control setting, an overview of the input and output ports, re-clocking configurations, alarms, full matrix control, cable compensation on the input side, auto SFP detection etc.
BarnStudio reads the needed information about every port. In particular the SFP’s are monitored in a separate list with among others temperature, signal strengths, signal loss, manufacturer, serial number, wave length, connector type etc. With Barnfind you are in control of your own solution.
Easy to deal with SNMP/MIB file (IPv4/IPv6). Please ask the Barnfind team if you want to have our SNMP/MIB file in order to do your own software. This is of course free of charge

BarnStudio
Matrix view
BarnStudio lets you easily perform with one-clicks to switch sources for any given destinations you want regardless of electrical or optical inputs or outputs. You can also make an extract of the ports you would like to operate with in order to get a better overview
Input view
On the input page you have a chance to configure the equalization per port on the BNCs. Since the BNCs are bidirectional, you can choose the direction of these ports. In this view, you can also rename all of your input ports.
Network
On the left part inside BarnStudio you can configure where to search for devices. BarnStudio has support for both IPv4 and IPv6. All Barnfind frames in the system will be displayed here to give you a total overview.
Output view
On the output view you have a chance to configure re-clocking per port on both electrical and optical ports. You can Enable or Disable the re-clocking function per port. And you can choose between common used Data rates such as SDI, HD-SDI and 3G or put it on Auto. Since the BNCs are bidirectional, you can choose the direction of these ports. In this view, you can also rename all of your output ports
SFP view
In this view you can see all our SFPs listed and see information like: manufacturer, model number, serial number, production date. You can also click on every SFP to get detailed information and/or configure this specific SFP like temperatures, transmission power, receiving power, or configure the target IP-address if this is a smart SFP that can send video over IP/Ethernet.
