Testers can simply select the country (or countries) to be tested and Evora automatically generates the corresponding structured test plan based on the country requirements. The tester follows the simple instructions to play out a designated stream from the Evora Test Suite. The Evora Suite is a collection of thousands of generated test streams designed for maximum efficiency and comprehensive test coverage. Instructions tell the user what to test and the result is recorded within the system.

The Only Test Suite for Pan-European DVB-T/T2 Coverage

There is no single specification covering the whole of European DVB-T. The actual requirement is a fusion of multiple national specifications combined with the real undocumented broadcast conditions. Generating a pan-European DVB-T requirement is extremely difficult requiring contacts with multiple broadcasters and industry stakeholder groups as well as in-depth knowledge of actual transmission practices across hundreds of different European regions.

Access to our On-line DVB-T Reference Book is also provided - Testers can seamlessly cross-reference to the specifications, test cases, requirements and issues found at the touch of a button. The Evora Certification Reference Book is a pan-European DVB-T implementation guide covering European specifications, real broadcast requirements and common industry practice. As the testing progresses, Evora can show test coverage against our On-line DVB-T Reference Book and relevant specifications clause-by-clause or as a simple percentage.

Planning, Tracking and Reporting Test Progress and Results

Evora automatically generates detailed test reports covering all the issues found, their significance and priority as a PDF document. The Evora issue list can also be outputted in CSV format for integration with other defect tracking systems. The tool provides useful information for scheduling and planning including a percentage of tests completed so far and estimated testing time until completion. Evora users can write and integrate their own tests into the Evora iSuite.
